Coleman was born at Blackpool Lancashire. She graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she achieved straight As for her A-levels. She is disappointed that she did not have a typical schooling when talking about the Emmerdale experiences. At the time of her schooling, Coleman was part of the theatre group In Yer Space with whom she performed at the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. The play also got favorable reviews. Coleman was awarded the award with a prestigious award for her performance. Coleman got the Emmerdale part of Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with the drama school. Coleman got two nominations in 2007. Coleman was nominated twice in 2007: Best Newcomer for the British Soap Awards; and the most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. Coleman was awarded nominations for Best Actress, Sexiest Woman as well as Best Dramatic Performance at the British Soap Awards 2009. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. The 21st of March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat confirmed at a press conference that Coleman was set to as the Doctor's companion along with Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat chose her for the role as she performed most effectively with Smith and was able to talk more quickly than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been working active in the field for more than 30 years and is associated in numerous TV and film projects. However, she is better known for TV projects instead of films. In all the roles Eva has appeared in on television shows like Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two that are the most notable. The role that she first appeared on television earned 2 Daytime Emmy nominations, and gave her the opportunity to explore her love for music. Eva is, along with acting, is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Eva has three husbands and an infant from the third.
