Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best recognized in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She then acted in several Broadway shows before becoming a star on national stage alongside Li'l Abner in. In the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, The album is Tina Time. Her first appearance in Hollywood was when she played Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, which was a 1958 drama. The film was met with wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. In this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour managed to move between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character opposed her perceived image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director on popular TV programs like Supernatural and The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent her childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained there ever since.
