Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress who is famous for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s the television show Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began during the 1950s in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. After that, she performed in a several Broadway productions before she became an international star alongside Li'l Abner in. That same year, she released Her first album of music It's the Right Time to Tina. Louise's debut appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, a 1958 drama. It received wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. She entered the Actors Studio in New York and became acquainted with Lee Strasberg as his student. She was able to land the role of her life when CBS signed her to portray Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career well across Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and on the show as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she has also made an impact as an accomplished director on numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 29th of August in 1965 her family emigrated to Toronto in the age group of three. Her childhood was spent there, and later her teenage years. When she was chosen to play the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She is a resident of Vancouver ever for the last ten years.
