Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. Her stage work began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s she performed as a stage artist in several Broadway plays before breaking through into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's debut in 1957. Within the same calendar year she released her first music album called The album is Tina Time. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre which was a 1958 drama. It received wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. In this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters that reflected her reputation as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years she's also been the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28 on the 28th of August, 1965. The family moved to Toronto for her childhood. Her home was in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
