Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared during her stage debut. Then, in 1956 she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway along with Li'l abner. In 1957, she launched her first album of music entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise made her debut in Hollywood in God's Little Acre a drama which was made in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda the main character of the film. In this time she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work with ease in between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles against her perceived image of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary, although she established herself as a successful television director with several series including Supernatural & The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August in 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has been settling down in Toronto ever since.
