Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for over forty years. Most famously, she is known for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. Then, in 1956 she made her big break in the stage on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina in the in the same year. Her first appearance into Hollywood was as Griselda in God's Little Acre, a 1958 film. The film received widespread praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career, balancing Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying somber in contrast to the glamour doll image she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she also became a well-known director of popular television series like Supernatural and The 100. Born on August 28, 1965 in Essex. At the age of 3, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived in the city for her entire childhood. She settled in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
