Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and a writer. She is most well recognized for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. That same year, she released Her first album, It's Time to Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood playing Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a drama film released 1958.The film received a lot of praise and Louise received the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In the years prior to this she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Her next memorable role came through in 1964 when she signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career with ease between Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in somber roles contrasted to her perception of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she was also a prominent director for popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28th 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
