Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer as well as a writer. She is most famously recognized as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started during the 1950s in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 when Li'lAbner went large in the National Theatre. Also, she released her debut music album It's Time for Tina in the same year. Louise's first venture into Hollywood was when she played Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, which was a 1958 film. It received wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. She attended Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's student. Her most memorable performance came with the year 1964, after she joined CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career with ease between Broadway television and Hollywood playing somber characters in contrast to the image she was portrayed as an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. Recently, however she's made her mark as a director of various popular TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. The family that she was raised with moved from Essex to Toronto and she lived there for growing up and in adolescence. When she was selected for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She was there ever from then on.
