Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer, best known as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in for her first stage appearance. After that, she performed in several Broadway shows before becoming an international star together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina in the in the same year. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood playing Griselda Walden, a character from God's Small Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film was praised widely as well as Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In the course of this film, she was began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her most memorable performance came with the year 1964, when she enrolled with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise was able to balance her acting career successfully between Broadway television and Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she was also a prominent director on popular TV programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for her childhood and teenage years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and she has settled down there ever since.
