Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress well known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s she began her acting career on stage in Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it famous in the national stage area with Li'l abner's in 1957. In the same calendar year she released her first music album called The album is Tina Time. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden, in God's Big Acre a 1957 drama film. This movie was hugely popular and Louise even won the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. At the time, she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship to Lee Strasberg as his student. The actress joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting in somber roles opposed to her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she's also earned a name for herself as a director who has been successful in several well-known television series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birth date was August 28, 1965 in Essex. At the age of 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of throughout her early years. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She was there ever for the last ten years.
