Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress best known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She then acted in a number of Broadway performances before becoming one of the biggest stars on the national stage alongside Li'l Abner in. The singer also released her debut music album, It's Time For Tina during the same year. Louise embarked on a journey to Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden from God's Little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film won acclaim from the public as well as Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and became acquainted with Lee Strasberg as his student. The next role she starred in was by way of 1964 when she signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise played a wonderful job of juggling between Broadway as well as Hollywood. She played somber as well as contrasting characters from the glamour doll image she was seen as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. She has also established herself as a well-known and respected director of popular television shows such as Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family emigrated to Toronto at the age of 3 where she subsequently spent growing up and in adolescence. She settled in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
