Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has been awarded numerous prizes for her writing and design. She advocates the rights of animals. Her films comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. When she was an assistant to photographers, she turned her attention towards modeling and acting. The first two films she appeared in, she was recognized as a winner of an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story was an international success, earning her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, she was voted the Top female box-office debut worldwide. In 1972, her footprints as well as autograph was engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among others. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, came out. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
